Three merged water companies sold by Veolia this summer have been renamed Affinity Water.

The company provides water services to over 3.3 million people across three discrete regions in northwest London and the home counties.

New owners Rift Acquisitions, an entity formed by Prudential and Morgan Stanley, will bear the cost of the name change, the company said.

Chief executive officer Richard Bienfait said the new name was chosen “to reflect our community-focused company and our passion to deliver a high quality water service to all of our customers”.
