Anglian extends sewer capacity to avoid overflows

Anglian Water has added storage tanks across its sewer networks to extend the capacity by holding and redirecting more than 72.5 million litres of surface water during heavy rainfall to reduce the need for combined sewer overflows. The £100 million investment is part of the company's commitments to improve river water quality in its region.
