Anglian Water has rebranded its Scottish retail arm Osprey Water, it announced today.
The company, which has been serving business customers in Scotland since 2008, will now be incorporated into Anglian’s business arm in England, Anglian Water Business.
Osprey Water’s customers include Asda, Starwood Hotels, which runs the Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa in Edinburgh, and pub retailer Greene King.
Recently, Greene King extended its contract with Anglian Water Business in Scotland for another three years. The company also signed up to Anglian’s “water pledge”; promising to cut consumption by 10 per cent in the next three years across its sites in Scotland and the Anglian region.
The company said the new national brand would bring together Ospery’s experience of winning business in a competitive market place with Anglian Water’s knowledge of helping businesses save water.
Bob Wilson, director of Anglian Water Business, said: “We launched Anglian Water Business in England in 2011 to help our customers conserve water, drive down energy and water costs, reduce costly carbon emissions and future-proof their business in tough times. It’s a model that’s proved attractive to forward-thinking companies in Scotland and this name change means customers on both sides of the border will know they are getting that Anglian Water Business expertise.”
