Armitt: Water sector has a lot of catching up to do

The head of the National Infrastructure Commission, John Armitt, has emphasised the challenge facing water companies in the coming five years and beyond to secure water supplies now and into the future. Marking the official submission of companies' water resource management plans, Armitt said the lack of reservoirs built over the past 30 years mean firms have significant ground to make up.
