Bevan: Climate doomism is the new denial

Climate doomism could be as dangerous as climate change denial, the chief executive of the Environment Agency has said, warning that fear breeds inaction. James Bevan cautioned that although the fear was very real, it was important to stay optimistic and focused on improving the environment rather than feeling paralysed by the scale of the problem.
