Ofgem CEO Jonathan Brearley has said it is in the "national interest" for the determinations on RIIO2 business plans to be delivered on time but accepted the regulator may need to "adapt" the process if networks are too consumed by their response to coronavirus. Speaking on Utility Week's webinar, Brearley stressed that as well as protecting consumers from the immediate effects of the virus, the sector needs to look forward to what will happen to the economy afterwards.
