The benefits of wetlands have been extolled across the water sector and stakeholders to treat water and tackle pollution. WWT has now demanded that government create a blueprint for treatment wetlands to encourage their uptake at the next AMP. WWT said government should run a pilot, identify sites for new wetlands and develop comprehensive guidance on the creation and maintenance of these sites
