Energy secretary Grant Shapps faced calls to take action against Ofgem in a parliamentary question session, during which a Labour MP questioned why the chief executive remained in the job. He called for better oversight of Ofgem and other regulators that were “getting away with ripping off consumers and allowing companies to do the same”.
