Capital Dynamics, a private asset manager for a UK pension fund, has bought a 26MW portfolio of gas-fired power plants from UK Coal.
A total of four sites in North Yorkshire and the East Midlands that recover waste mine methane and convert it to electricity, have been sold.
A specialist operations and maintenance team will oversee the day-to-day management of the sites and will be managed by Capital Dynamics under a long term agreement.
