How to shut down a gas network
Any future government decision against the use of hydrogen for domestic heating could leave the necessity and viability of large parts of the gas grid in question. Yet, just three years out from the policy deadline on this critical point there has been no meaningful public debate about what a possible tilt towards electrification of heat would mean for the gas network.
