Ofgem direct debit clampdown finds 99.6% set correctly
A review of the direct debits of almost one million customers sparked by an Ofgem crackdown last year has revealed just 0.4% were wrong or badly communicated. The regulator said it no longer has concerns about nine of the suppliers it called out last summer but is continuing to monitor a further three.
