Targets confirmed for upcoming capacity auctions
The government has confirmed the procurement targets for the Capacity Markets auctions due to take place next month. An industry analyst told Utility Week that the target for the four-year-ahead (T-4) auction suggests secretary of state has decided “it’s better to be safe than sorry” when it comes to the assumed availability of nuclear generation.
