Ofgem blames RO scheme cost hike on ‘unfilled vacancies’
A number of unfilled vacancies at Ofgem are to blame for an increase in the forecast costs of administering the Renewables Obligation (RO) scheme, the energy regulator has stated. It cited a "challenging job market" as contributing to a 7% increase in costs for overseeing the programme.
