Ukraine crisis could see price cap exceed £3,000 in October
The latest surge in gas and electricity prices could see the price cap on default tariffs rise to well over £3,000 in October, according to analysis by Investec. The warning came as front-month gas prices spiked by around a third on Thursday morning (24 February) after Russia launched an invasion into Ukraine.
