People’s Energy to create 100 jobs after taking over Ovo office

Edinburgh-based challenger brand People’s Energy is creating 100 new jobs in Selkirk after taking over the recently vacated Ovo Energy offices in the town. Husband and wife founders of People’s Energy, Karin Sode and David Pike, said they spotted an opportunity when Ovo closed its Ettrick Riverside building in May.

Everflow releases water switching quotation tool

Everflow Tech, the sister company to Everflow Water, has released its proprietary quotation software to the water retail market, whilst boasting of its ability to produce almost instantaneous quotes for switching. The company has also appointed Paul Williams its first chief technology officer, who said the Simple Quoting tool will be first in a series of modules to be spun off from its billing platform Eclipse.
