The Committee on Climate Change has petitioned the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government to consider bringing forward the introduction of the Future Homes Standard from 2025. The climate adviser also warned that the standard falls short in terms of reducing carbon emissions and addressing the growing risks of flooding and water stress.
