Challengers may have been offered ‘stay of execution’

Small challenger energy brands may have been offered a stay of execution following the decision to defer up to £350 million worth of network charges, an industry expert has said. Andrew Perry, energy principal at Oliver Wyman, told Utility Week the industry was facing a risk of multiple supplier failures and that the best regulatory approach was to spread these out.
