Charity warns of ‘unsafe’ PPM installations in disabled households

A charity has called on Ofgem to issue a “binding moratorium” on installing prepayment meters (PPMs) in disabled customers’ households, which it warned is an “unsafe” practice. Scope, an organisation which campaigns for disability equality, said it had seen "far too many examples" of disabled people being forced onto PPMs.
