BEIS promises review of regulators’ duties
The government has promised a review of utilities regulators’ statutory duties this year and to align the processes in the water and energy sectors for appealing against watchdogs’ decisions. The exercise will consider recommendations outlined in a 2019 report submitted by National Infrastructure Commission on economic regulation to government.
