Affinity’s CEO calls for water scarcity to be on national agenda
Affinity Water's chief executive Keith Haslett told Utility Week that water efficiency measures need to be front and centre of the national agenda to address the looming water deficit in the UK. He said reinstating a national council for water and a clearly defined water minister role would help ensure policy supported efforts to promote water reuse, make efficiency key in homebuilding and to rollout compulsory smart metering.
