Water consumer environmental awareness stagnates
People's understanding of how their actions impact the water environment has stagnated, according to research by CCW to track awareness of behaviours such as conserving water, pouring fats and oils away and putting non-flushables down the loo. It has recommended targetting consumer advice at men, younger people and those not responsible for bills as these groups have lower understanding than others.
