Coronavirus disruption ‘will expose fragility in water retail market’

Changes introduced by MOSL and Ofwat will bolster the non-domestic water market through the uncertain months ahead but coronavirus will bring the sector's lack of resilience into sharp focus, argues Waterscan's chief executive Neil Pendle. He told Utility Week that companies are operating 'hand to mouth' and a co-ordinated approach between wholesalers and retailers is needed to pave a way forward.
