The second round of a competition to come up with new ways to make business premises more energy efficient was launched by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (Decc) today.
The £10million Invest in Innovative Refurb project aims to introduce new energy efficient technologies and processes to the refurbishment of non domestic buildings.
The second tranche of the scheme offers up to £5million of funding from Decc. This follows the first half of the scheme, where 13 applicants were awarded a share of £5million offered in June.
Funding in each tranche is made available in two phases, with up to £20,000 in the first, design phase, and then between £100,000 and £1million will be available for each project in the second delivery phase.
There is a deadline of noon on 21 November for registrations and the final closing date for applications is 12pm on 28 November.
