Just three years after launching into the turbulent world of the UK energy retail market, Octopus Energy scooped both the disruptor and utility of the year prizes at the Utility Week Awards. The wins perhaps signal a sign of the times, the challenger brand has well and truly come of age. The company's latest accounts show it made a £30 million loss off a revenue of £460 million.
