Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks has outlined some of the key barriers and challenges for vulnerable and disabled drivers looking to make the switch to electric vehicles in a new report. The company said whilst many of the barriers to adoption are similar to those commonly identified by other drivers, there are also a number of additional considerations that need to be addressed. UK Power Networks has also partnered with the charity Motability to understand the needs of disabled EV drivers.
