Entries are now open for the Utility Week Awards 2024.
The prestigious awards ceremony, which celebrates the achievements of utilities and their supply chain across 17 categories, will be held on 3 December at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
The deadline for entries is 5 September but you can begin your application right now.
This year’s awards include a bespoke Diversity & Inclusion category, recognising the many initiatives striving to make utilities more reflective of society as a whole. There is also a new Skills and Training Award, celebrating best in class employers adopting novel ways of developing their staff. A full list of categories is listed below.
Utility Week editor and chair of the judges, James Wallin said: “I’m looking forward to seeing how the sector will build on a genuinely inspiring set of entries last year. We’re looking for examples of companies that have gone above and beyond regulatory requirements and found innovative new ways to tackle common industry challenges.
“The Utility Week Awards invite best-in-class examples of what a public service ethos means in 2024, from maximizing the opportunities of data and digitalisation to promoting diversity, putting social and environmental goals at the heart of decision-making and developing new ways of supporting customers and decarbonising the UK.
“You can start your entry today – and come back to it at any point before 5 September – so why hesitate any longer?”
