Civil servants have indicated a willingness to share data on vulnerable customers with the utilities sector, Ofgem’s chief executive told Utility Week Live. In a wide-ranging speech, Jonathan Brearley also discussed the design of a social tariff, predicted a return to profitability for energy retailers and addressed calls for an explicit net-zero duty on the regulator.
