EDF will take on the 360,000 domestic customers and handful of business accounts of failed supplier Green Network Energy, Ofgem has confirmed. Meanwhile, Centrica’s recently formed British Gas Evolve brand will absorb the 50,000 consumers supplied by Simplicity, which also exited the market last week.
