EDF links up with Octo Energy to build hybrid solar farms

EDF Renewables has formed a new partnership with Octo Energy to build a series of hybrid solar farms with battery storage across England and Wales with a total capacity of 200MW. The agreement has been made as part of EDF’s plans to nearly double its renewable generation capacity from 28GW to 50GW by 2030 and build an additional 10GW of battery storage across Europe by 2035.
