A joint venture has been announced between EDF Renewables and developer DP Energy to deploy up to 1GW of floating offshore wind generation in the Celtic Sea. EDF said an area of interest for the Gwynt Glas project has been identified around 70km from coast and the precise location will be refined over the coming weeks.
