Several industry experts have raised their concerns about a lack of detail surrounding energy efficiency in the government’s announcement of support for households this winter. Peter Smith, director of policy and advocacy at charity National Energy Action (NEA), told Utility Week that plans to improve energy efficiency were “notably absent” from the prime minister’s statement.
