Energy minister Graham Stuart has identified grid upgrades as his top priority since taking on the portfolio two months ago. Speak to the Welsh Affairs Committee as part of its ongoing inquiry into floating wind, Stuart said building out the electricity system to cope with the growing volume of renewable generation presents an “enormous” challenge, both financially and politically.
