Ofgem has lost much of its sector knowledge thanks to a "high turnover" of staff in recent years, Energy UK has warned. The trade body has expressed concerns about the lack of focus on recruiting and retaining the necessary staff - at the regulator, in government and at the Future System Operator - to fulfill the responsibilities in the government's new strategic policy statement.
