ENW defers £20m of reinforcements through flexibility contracts

Electricity North West (ENW) has deferred £20 million of network reinforcement work over the past 12 months through flexibility contracts. The network operator is now seeking to build on its flexibility offerings and is launching a new tender for flex services. In total, the latest tender is seeking to procure 486MW of flexibility across 29 Locations in Cumbria, Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
