All units at Npower's 750MW Tilbury biomass plant should be operational on Monday.
The power station, Europe’s largest biomass-fired plant, was put out of action after a fire in February.
One of the three 250MW units (unit 8) returned to service in June. Npower had hoped to bring units 9 and 10 online at the end of July but said earlier this month that the end of August was more likely.
The company told Utility Week that unit 9 is now operational. “It ran yesterday and is due on over the next couple of days,” according to a spokeswoman. “Unit 10 is due to come on line on Monday then we are fully operational.”
