Everflow beefs up senior team as it seeks to diversify

Water retailer Everflow has expanded into commercial waste management as part of plans to be a multi-utility provider and unveiled a new-look executive team.

It has appointed Craig Dallison as chief growth officer and Jim Garrett as chief operating officer will steer the expansion to waste using a “sustainability and technology-driven approach”.

The company said it plans to make waste management simpler, cheaper and more sustainable nationwide with ambitions to “expand rapidly”.

Dallison was formerly a director at The Energy Check, a B2B energy consultancy and his role at Everflow will include scaling the new proposition, developing and executing it including product growth, marketing and sales.

Garrett brings experience growing challenger energy businesses having held director positions at Utilita and Dual Energy as well as chief operating officer at Orbit Energy.

Everflow chief executive Josh Gill said the organisation remained committed to its vision of making all utilities “more simple and sustainable”. He said: “The launch of our waste service will support this aim and is the first step in our ambition to pursue a multi-utility approach to the B2B market. We’re confident that offering services across multiple utilities will help SMEs to significantly cut down on their administrative demands while also securing cheaper bills.”

The organisation was the first water company in the UK to become carbon neutral earlier this year and has grown its customer base by c50% over the past year with a focus on supplying water to small and medium-sized businesses.
