Everflow, the water retail and technology company, has formed a partnership with data and analytics firm Connexica to develop tools and products for water retailers.
The data management and analytics platform developer will work with Everflow on a new range of financial management and planning tools that offer better efficiency, accuracy and reliability for reporting activities.
The partnership will also explore building revenue assurance and forecasting models to assist evidence-based decision-making and planning.
Paul Williams, chief technology officer at Everflow, said: “Working with Connexica will give us the additional tools and expertise we need to extend our software and deliver user-accessible, data-driven solutions which will have a huge impact within the water market.”
Williams said the technology will reduce costs for retailers by automating quoting and billing processes, whilst also improving services for end customers.
MOSL launched a dedicated fund to encourage innovation in the water retail sector through collaboration. Groups and projects can apply to the Market Improvement Fund for grants of between £10,000 and £150,000 from a total pot of £1 million.
Everflow Tech, the technology arm of Everflow Water, began in 2018 to develop retail sales, billing and customer management systems.
