Everflow Tech, the sister company to Everflow Water, has released its proprietary quotation software to the water retail market, whilst boasting of its ability to produce almost instantaneous quotes for switching.

The Simple Quoting tool was developed working with brokers in the SME segment. Everflow said they will now be able obtain quotes for potential customers within seconds rather than days.

Since its development, Everflow Water has become the fastest organically growing water retailer in the sector, gaining over 68,000 supply points using its own automated management and billing software called Eclipse.

Williams said: “It became clear that a number of retailers we were speaking to wanted elements of the Eclipse software which would solve specific sticking points, without investing in the comprehensive product. Therefore, to make its features easily accessible, we’re splitting out modules – the first of which being Simple Quoting, which has proven extremely popular because it significantly boosts sales potential.”

Gill said the tool has proven invaluable to brokers to turn around quotes more quickly and enable them to hit sales targets. He said releasing the software for other retailers to use aligns with the Everflow Group vision to “make utilities simple”.

“We want it to succeed and we want customers to have a positive experience,” he added. “Switching rates remain low. With ever more retailers and brokers using Simple Quoting, switching will increase across the board.”
