Flow Energy launches new low-cost tariffs

Flow Energy has launched two new energy tariffs which aim to maintain low prices despite rising wholesale costs.

The direct debit deals offer a fixed rate until October 2017 for Connect 10 and April 2018 for Connect 11. The yearly cost for an average consumer is £793.44 (Connect 10) or £814.12 (Connect 11).

Flow Energy managing director Andrew Beasley said: “We’re committed to providing consumers with a variety of fixed deals tailored to suit different needs, that’s why we have launched our Winter Warmer six-month tariff, as well as new 12 and 18 month deals.

“On top of this we pride ourselves on our ability to offer excellent customer service alongside fantastic value, despite rising wholesale costs.”

Earlier this month Flow launched a new six-month tariff which it claimed is the cheapest on the market over the winter period.

The new tariffs have been launched amidst other independents announcing price increases to reflect increasing policy and wholesale costs. This week GB Energy Supply increased its prices by an average 30 per cent, whilst Ecotricity made an average rise of 5.7 per cent.
