Green hydrogen on track for price parity with natural gas by 2035

Cadent’s director of strategy has predicted that technological advances in the electrolysis process, along with hikes in carbon prices, are likely to rapidly reduce the cost of green hydrogen. However, Dr Angie Needle warned that the UK faces losing its competitive advantage on hydrogen in the meantime, unless it produces a robust strategy for the sector.
