Haven Power appoints new chief operating officer

Supplier has an “enviable reputation for excellence” says Paul Sheffield

Electricity supplier Haven Power – which is part of the Drax Group – has appointed Paul Sheffield as its new chief operating officer.

Sheffield joins the company from EDF Energy, where he held the position of B2B commercial director before successfully leading the SME customer business and I&C business sales division.

As chief operating officer, he will be responsible for Haven Power’s core business areas including sales, customer services, marketing and commercial.

“Haven has an enviable reputation for excellence in customer service, with teams built around customers’ needs; so everything they do is about making power work for businesses,” said Sheffield.

“I’m looking forward to building on that – understanding each customer’s unique business, their needs, and creating solutions that are right for them. It is that customer-centric approach that sets Haven apart from other retailers.”

Commenting on the appointment, Drax Retail chief executive Jonathan Kini said: “I’m very pleased to welcome Paul to the team. His wealth of industry experience and expertise will further enhance Haven Power’s drive to simplify the highly regulated and competitive energy market for their customers.”
