Grants worth up to £6,000 for low-carbon heating installations and a 2035 ban on gas boiler sales are likely to feature in the government’s heat and building strategy, which is due to be unveiled next week, Utility Week has learnt. The publication of the long-awaited strategy is expected to be included in a raft of major decarbonisation policy announcements before Parliament rises for its summer recess on 22 July.
