Highview Power secures £300m investment for first commercial-scale liquid air energy storage plant 

Highview Power has secured £300 million of debt and equity investment to build the first commercial-scale liquid air energy storage plant in the UK. The funding round was led by the UK Investment Bank and Centrica, which have contributed £165 million and £70 million respectively. Utility Week speaks to Highview co-founder and chief executive Richard Butland about the project.
