The Bluefield Solar Income Fund (BSIF) has bought its tenth large-scale solar plant.
The investment company has entered into a conditional contract to acquire the plant with a 17.5MW peak (MWp) capacity, located in Hertfordshire, for £19 million.
The solar plant is expected to be eligible for 1.4 Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs).
It is being constructed by Solarcentury, and the developer will warrant its performance for an initial period, and undertake the ongoing operation and maintenance at the site.
Following the completion of this deal, BSIF will have ten solar energy plants with a combined energy capacity of 128MWp.
