Lack of installers putting heat pump target at risk

More new heat pump installers will need to be trained every year between now and 2028 than there are currently in the sector if the UK is to meet its installation targets, a new report has claimed. The report released by the charity Nesta estimated that there are currently only 3,000 trained heat pump engineers in the UK and at least another 27,000 will be needed in the next six years.
