Defra has postponed the publication of a much anticipated decision on leaky toilets until next summer. It missed a legally binding deadline to set demand reduction targets at the end of October despite the country experiencing hosepipe bans amid a summer of drought. The Bathroom Manufacturers Association said it was "disappointed" but acknowledged the complexities involved.
