Low-carbon service provider to grow five-fold

Utilities service provider Waldeck said on Tuesday it plans to increase the roles within its energy and infrastructure business by 500 per cent to meet growing demand for nuclear and renewable energy infrastructure services.

The London-based firm will recruit for 60 roles – ranging from civil and structural engineers to CAD and BIM technicians – to be based around the UK.

“The next 25 years will see a boom in infrastructure building with an estimated £110 billion of investments forecasted for energy related projects by 2020. Nuclear power generation is expected to play a significant part in this due to the ever increasing demand for energy, reduction in fossil fuel operations and concerns over energy security,” said Waldeck director and founder Paul Waldeck.
