Mainstream Renewable Power (MRP) has a further €60 million to finance its project pipeline after securing the facility from Macquarie.
€40 million is currently available, with a further €20m on the table if MRP fulfils certain conditions and approvals.
MRP said it “has appetite” for further equity after recently raising €16.8m from high net worth individuals.
MRP chief executive Eddie O’Connor said the firm was “delighted” with the facility. “We have started construction on over 325MW of wind and solar projects in four countries and this investment means we will be bringing more projects into construction as well as expanding our global project development portfolio,” he said.
