Malaysian utility Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has purchased a 49% stake in the Blyth Offshore Demonstrator wind farm from EDF via its subsidiary Vantage RE. The agreement, which will see EDF Renewables UK retain a 51% majority share, includes the existing 41.5 MW windfarm and the development rights for the new Blyth floating offshore wind farm project which will have a capacity of up to 58.4MW.
