Global steel giant ArcelorMitttal has slammed European Union renewables rules as “unrealistic”. The firm’s chief executive Lakshmi Mittal has claimed that “over regulation” in the bloc threatened to “destroy the manufacturing industries that are the back bone of Europe’s economy".
